Galleries

The Langham has two distinct exhibition spaces located on the 1st floor; the Main Gallery and the Lobby Gallery.
Our galleries display exhibits by professional artists from across Canada as well as talented regional emerging artists, local community and student group shows, and special cultural exhibits.

Galleries are open to the public from Friday to Monday, starting at 1pm and closing at 4pm.

Kootenay Time — Fern Van Horn

Exhibit Dates: October 3 - December 5, 2025

In the Community Gallery, Fern Van Horn’s – Kootenay Time gathers five years of landscape painting in watercolour and acrylic. A longtime Kaslo resident, Van Horn draws inspiration from the mountains, rivers, and shifting skies of the Kootenays. Her plein air sketches, process notes, and finished works reveal a lifelong devotion to observing light, colour, and change in the land she calls home.

Wait — Oiseau

Exhibit Dates: October 3 - December 5, 2025

In the Main Gallery, Argenta, BC artist Oiseau presents “Wait” —an exploration of the layered meanings of “waiting” through a series of figurative oil paintings. What began as studies of “ladies in waiting” has grown into a meditation on time, anticipation, and stillness, weaving in playful visual puzzles, narrative depth, and audience participation.
