The Langham’s cultural arts programming supports the human imagination.
The Langham contributes to the well-being of the community by providing stimulating educational programs, concerts, events and exhibitions, creating community where like-minded individuals can come together.
The Langham board invite all ages to get involved. You may be interested in joining one of the follwing:
The Gallery Program – hosting the exhibitions throughout the year
Theatre Hosts – helping with concerts, tickets, and concession
The Board of Directors – serving on the board – Annual General Meetings are in May each year.
Over the past 4 decades the Langham has been led by supportive boards, membership, and a tireless group of volunteers.
MEMBERSHIPS
We invite you to join us!
Membership in the Langham Cultural Society is open to everyone.
Single membership is $20 and entitles you to full voting privileges.
Senior (60+) or Student membership is $10.
Family membership is $40 and entitles two adult family members to vote.
All minor children of adult members are members.
A Lifetime Member is $100 for senior (60+) or $200 for individual.
Your Langham membership benefits include:
– one vote per adult member at the AGM
– Supporting arts and culture programming in our community
– Eligibility to run as a Langham Board Member
– Discount on rental rates of the Loki Multipurpose Room and the Theatre
– Priority admittance to the Annual YARD SALE
– Reciprocal entrance privileges with 25 other organizations, including
a) SS Moyie Historic site, Kaslo, B.C. (free admission)
b) Touchstones Nelson Museum of Art History (50% admission discount, 10% off gift shop purchases, member discounts on special events)
c) Kootenay Gallery of Art, History and Science, Castlegar, B.C. (free admission, 10% off gift shop)
