Finders Keepers Losers Weepers – Hunting-Gathering in Action

This 50-minute film is an honest, uncensored portrayal of local life forms going about their self-centred business of daily survival. You
will see vivid and some very dramatic close-up encounters of their hunting-gathering activities—all of these filmed locally—featuring
plants, birds, and mammals including diverse rodents, ungulates, black bears, grizzlies, an otter, and coyotes. The film challenges us to
reflect on the increasingly invasive impact we have on planet Earth’s organisms and on the likelihood of humans reversing this trajectory.

Come prepared to grip your chair: this is not entirely a Disney experience.

The film maker, Peter Jonker has lived in Meadow Creek since 2012 after retiring from the University of Saskatchewan as an adult education faculty member.
