Program Assistant – Art & Nature Summer Camp

Job Description

Wildwood Discovery is excited to partner with The Langham to offer a nature- and art-based Summer Program for children ages 6–11.

We are seeking passionate, reliable, and community-minded team members to help deliver a meaningful outdoor and arts-based experience for local children.

Program Dates: June 29 – August 28, 2026
Program Days: Monday–Thursday

Program Assistant Compensation: $25 per hour

Key Responsibilites

Role Overview

The Program Assistant supports the Program Lead in delivering daily activities and ensuring children are supervised, engaged, and safe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with art activities and outdoor exploration
  • Support group management and daily transitions
  • Help set up and clean up activities
  • Maintain consistent supervision and safety standards
  • Contribute positively to team culture

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children preferred
  • Energetic, reliable, and collaborative
  • Valid First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Clear Criminal Record Check
  • Interest in art, nature, and community-based programming

Position Type: Seasonal Contract

Contract Dates: June 29, 2026 – August 28, 2026

Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Total Hours: 24 hours per week

Compensation: $25 per hour
